Ini adalah sebuah charity show, dengan line-up yang super, walaupun eksekusi yang sederhana! Bulan Ramadhan, Acoustic Show, Charity Box, Line up: The Morning After, Robert Davis Chaniago, Let’s Go C’mon Baby, Vox, Hi Mom! dan Soulmate! Terdengar menarik? Yah, Lollypop Shop yang ketiban peran jadi venue, memang lumayan penuh waktu sore itu! Dan Mellon Zine menggelar laptop terkoneksi internet untuk membuka page www.mellonzine.com langsung di venue! Haha…
Robert Davis Chaniago menjadi pembuka acara hari itu, dan musik blues di sore hari memang memiliki pesonanya sendiri. Ha, memang kandidat yang pantas diunggulkan untuk masuk kompilasi LA Lights Indiefest mendatang. Up Up And Away yang menjadi lagu penutup RDC adalah lagu yang dikonteskan di LA Lights Indiefest. Penampil kedua ada The Morning After dari Malang, yang telah merilis album debutnya, dibawah Lil’ Fish Records. Tidak dengan formasi lengkap, namun masih memukau dengan Dengar dan Diam-nya. Toh, format pertunjukkan juga akustik. Setelah TMA ada Vox, yang tampil dengan baju muslim panjang, membawakan Demi Masa yang bertema religi, dan membawakan Oh Well versi akustik yang menyenangkan.
Penampil selanjutnya adalah Let’s Go C’mon Baby, dengan tambahan dua player (Hadi The Boogie, satu lagi saya lupa, tolong tambahkan di komen jika ada yang tahu). Membawakan Dolly Menjelang Shubuh di nuansa Ramadhan ini, dan Heri Heru yang menjadi sangat asyik dengan beat bergoyang gaya akustik-nya. Kemudian ada Hi Mom!, walaupun yang tampil hanyalah Kupre dan Koko, padahal saya melihat Mery ada di lokasi juga sebenarnya. Toh, Honey masih mengasyikkan dan membuat penonton ikut bernyanyi!
Break Maghrib yang diawali BCR (Balada Cerita Ramadhan –kalo gak salah) dari Prambors menjadi kesempatan beberapa audiens untuk berburu merchandise band dan beramal di kotak amal. Setelah pembagian takjil gratis dan berbuka sejenak, Soulmate tampil dengan kostum flight attendant-nya. Remang petang menjadi suasana yang menyatu dengan penampilan Soulmate yang electro-jazzy. Acara yang sungguh menyenangkan! Pada sore itu terkumpul uang satu juta rupiah lebih yang disumbangkan seluruhnya pada Sanggar Alang-Alang Surabaya. Terimakasih untuk LA Lights, Prambors FM Surabaya, 123Vox Production, Lollypop Shop, Mellon Zine and SPL Sound yang membuat acara ini terselenggara. So, selamat berlebaran semua! The Morning After
This is a Charity Show with its super-line up, although with a simple execution! Ramadhan, Acoustic Show, Charity Box, Line up: The Morning After, Robert Davis Chaniago, Let’s Go C’mon Baby, Vox, Hi Mom! dan Soulmate! Sounds interesting? Yup, Lollypop Shop that due to be the venue, quite filled up that afternoon. And Mellon Zine show a laptop connected with the internet, to open the page, www.mellonzine.com live at the venue! Haha…
Robert Davis Chaniago is the opening act, and blues at the afternoon has its own excitement. Ha, they are deserved to win through LA Lights Indiefest next compilation. Up Up And Away that closed RDC act, is the song that contested in LA Lights Indiefest. Next, is The Morning After from Malang, who just released their debut album under Lil’ Fish Records. Didn’t come with their full formation, but still stand out with their Dengar dan Diam. Though, the show is an acoustic show. After TMA there is Vox, appear with long Moslem costume, played Demi Masa that is a religious song, and Oh Well, a nice acoustic version.
The next performer it’s Let’s Go C’mon Baby, with two additional players (Hadi The Boogie, I forgot the other one, please add on the comment if you know). Brought Dolly Menjelang Shubuh in this Ramadhan, and Heri Heru that really cool with its acoustic-danceable-beat. Then, came Hi Mom!, only Kupre and Koko who are on stage, instead I saw Mery around the venue. Though, Honey is still great, and made the audiences sing together.
Break for Maghrib, started with BCR (Balada Cerita Ramadhan –hope I’m not wrong with this) from Prambors Radio, been a good chance for the audiences to shop the bamd merchandises and fill in the charity box. After distributed snack and drink to break-fasting, there were come Soulmate with its flight attendant costume. Sunset light, have been a good match for Soulmate performance who is electro-jazzy. This is a really fun show! In that afternoon, we collect around one million rupiahs, and fully give it to Sanggar Alang-Alang Surabaya. Thanks to LA Lights, Prambors FM Surabaya, 123Vox Production, Lollypop Shop, Mellon Zine and SPL Sound, who made this show possible. So, happy Eid! We’re sorry for any our faults behind. We love you!
